Family Bike Classic

Freedom Fest Bike Classic

  1. A new event in 2010 was the Morgan Hill Family Bike Ride. Due to the ever increasing popularity of cycling, especially in Morgan Hill (now considered one of the top cycling areas in N. California), this family event is set on the backdrop of our local Coyote Creek trail. Cyclists have a choice of participating in three different distances that are supported by rest stops and SAG units. In 2012 this event is expanding into a full 100k bicycle tour, allowing cyclist of all levels to enjoy a ride. The new 100k route takes the more advanced rider through the picturesque backroads of Morgan Hill, San Martin and Gilroy, providing 3405 ft. of climbing!

On June 30, 2012, we will present the 3rd Annual Bike Classic!

Thanks to the efforts of Bill Stryker and Stephanie Short, our Biking Event Chairs, local family bike enthusiasts will have an opportunity to tour the south county bike trails with family and friends in a non-competitive, fun environment!  All bike events will begin and end at the Morgan Hill trailhead for the Coyote Creek Trail, which is located at the Anderson Lake County Park Ranger office on Malaguerra Avenue.
